Product Reviews: Eight Visions for Flute and Piano

This is a fantastic compilation of modern works for the flute. All pieces are accessible and would act as a great introduction to contemporary flute music and also as part of any recital. Each piece comes with a note about the composer and also a note about the piece, this includes notational considerations where there are non standard notations used.
The only thing wrong with the anthology is that nearly none of the pieces are not published separately so buying the anthology is the only way to get these works. Though for £30, converting to £3.75 per piece, this is really worth the price tag.
I chose this product as I wanted to use one piece for my final recital, though the works are so varying in space and atmosphere that a recital could easily comprise of music just from this anthology and be a successful recital of contemporary flute repertoire.
