This piece has a distinct tango fell, with all players taking the lead at various times. After the intoduction, each instrument has a 2 beat solos. This is followed by a short section where the instruments play in twos and threes, with an inverted cascade of notes leading into the next section. When the main theme starts on soprano with alto harmony, the tenor has an equally important counter melody with a clear bass line on baritone.
