The Wedding at Tregenna was composed to celebrate the marriage of Nel West and Peter Dexter at Tregenna Castle on 18 April 2022.
Written for solo bass flute, the aim is to create an atmosphere of calm and dance-like celebration as the piece unfolds. The piece draws heavily on gamelan scales and an inter-relationship between major and minor.
Contains some (optional) singing and playing, and timbral trills.
