Making arrangements of copyright material is not easy, since obtaining copyright permission is a time consuming, and often expensive process.  It is not without considerable effort, therefore, that Mel Orris is able to make these popular pieces available via Wonderful Winds.  This piece, sometimes better known as The Frog Chorus, was a childhood favourite of mine, and it is great to see it available as a version for five flutes.  This is a fun waltz with the wonderful tempo marking of 'ribbity': the melody is often heard in the lower parts and despite the simplicity of the music, everyone has something interesting to do.  This is enormous fun, and well put together.

From the Publisher

A perennial favourite with a festive feel, this was originally used as music for the animated film Rupert and The Frog Song featuring the ribbiting chorus of the King's Singers and St Paul's Cathedral Choir, and the flute of Elena Duran. This arrangement for 5 C flutes gives everyone the chance for a tune and also features a swirling waltz section with charming decoration from the upper two flutes.
