This arrangement is dedicated to Nicola Mazzanti and the fantastic crew of teachers of the International Piccolo Flute Academy, who premiered the piece at the 2022 Annual Convention of the National Flute Association in Chicago, Illinois, USA. The situation in the original opera: Alfredo, a young Italian Tenor, is in love with beautiful Soprano Violetta, the mistress of a rich but old Italian Baritone.
