Twelve Easy Duets for Two Flutes, Op. 141 [Playing score(s)]
From the Publisher
This collection of twelve short duets, originally written for two horns, is an ideal "follow-on" to the "Two's Company" series, and is at a slightly more challenging level. The pitch range in this collection of duets remains largely restricted to one octave within any piece, but also includes the occasional note a perfect 4th below the lower tonic. There is also a slightly greater level of chromatic writing and more detailed articulation.
In common with both the pieces and the layout in "Two's Company", both parts share the melodies and there are no page turns within any piece: each one is on either a single or double page. The pieces are ideal for teaching, performance, or simply for fun, and, again in common with the "Two's Company" series, no separate parts are needed.
