From the Publisher
Three Dances from Henry VIII for Flute Choir, by Edward German, arranged for flute choir by Paige Dashner Long. Edward German composed Three Dances from Henry VIII as incidental music to be performed during Henry Irving’s version of Henry VIII at the Lyceum Theater in London. These are very British and great fun! Each dance can stand on its own or the three dances can be performed together. German incorporates three different types of olde English dances: Morris Dance; Shepherds’ Dance; Torch Dance.
