Talisman for Solo Clarinet as written in 2001 after a trip to the other United States. It is a region with a distinctive charm, idyllic cities with leafy avenues and big country houses. In particular, a visit to Savannah, Georgia and its expansive surroundings influenced the writing of this virtuosic yet integral work.
