“Something new, something familiar”

Chris Hankin Just Flutes staff member - [email protected]
This book was compiled by Graf as a programme for his students to explore differing styles whilst challenging their technique. This interesting collection starts with 6 Boehm Caprices and the 6 studies from Andersen Op 15, which will already be familiar, but the more modern music of Jeanjean, Karg-Elert and Heiner Reitz will present complete change of emphasis. Each composer has biographical details and each study practise tips. Reasonable priced for the amount of material here, this book is a really good one to have on your shelf.
Difficulty guide: 8-9
Difficulty level, roughly compared to ABRSM exam grades. 0 is total beginner, 9 is advanced (beyond grade 8).
