- Interesting, worth a look
From the Publisher
Roz's notes: This delicate Staendchen (Serenade) begins with a syncopated opening and shows a Hungarian influence. I have found that it is best played on a wooden flute from the period (I use a Clair Godfroy) in order to achieve the necessary sweetness. Sabathil was a renowned flautist and composer at the Mecklenburg-Schweriner Hofkapelle.
