This composition was written and dedicated to the Tucson Flute Club for their 50th Anniversary. It was premiered at the celebration concert on March 8, 2020 to a standing room only audience. Each movement portrays a vision of the "Great Southwest". There is calmness, beautiful lyrical lines, expressive harmony, animation and excitement throughout the composition. This work is sure to become a favorite with your flute choir.
