This edition is a reprint of the 1934 publication of Philippe Gaubert's Sonata No. 3 (Troisième Sonate) for Flute and Piano. Gaubert’s third flute sonata was written in 1933, and is dedicated à Jean Boulze (to Jean Boulze), the solo flutist of l'Opéra et des Concerts Lamoureaux.
Measure and rehearsal numbers have been added in addition to a brief foreward, making this edition much more rehearsal friendly than any other version out there. In three movements: Allegretto, Intermède pastoral, and Finale (Joyeux-Allegretto).
