A music festival is held in May every year under the title "Schoeneiche sings and makes music". A wide variety of groups and soloists are spread throughout the town. The ecumenical choir participates every year with choral music in the village church. Alternating choral movements and motets as well as instrumental pieces can be heard. In 2020 the music festival was canceled due to corona. The "Schöneicher Miniaturen" for two treble recorders should be performed in choral music. These were composed directly for the music festival. They can of course be performed at any other time. (Lothar Graap)
