Rondeau, Bourree, Menuet and Badinerie are taken from Johann Sebastian Bach's 'Orchestral Suite no.2 in B minor, BWV1067' for flauto traverso, strings and baroque cello. The pieces are transposed to D minor for reasons of harmony and in accordance with the Baroque technique of transcribing flauto literature for the recorder.'
