- Interesting, worth a look
Our Description
This selection of French music for the flute dating from the first half of the eighteenth century contains, in addition to well-known solos such as Couperin's Rossignol-en-amour and Blavet's Rondeau and Gigue en Rondeau, little pieces for two flutes by J. Hotteterre, M. Blavet and other composers. This Recueil is a lighthearted and practical introduction to French baroque music; the foreword offers useful hints on the execution of ornaments.
