The art of creating a quality headjoint requires tremendous skill, taking many years to develop. Chris McKenna has dedicated his life to this unique skill, and is considered by many to be one of the finest headjoint makers in the world.
The flute headjoint is absolutely critical in creating a beautiful sound on any flute. The headjoint influences your response, your projection, and your control.
General Condition
This headjoint has been through our workshop prir to sale. The tenon has been re-rounded and fitted, and the headjoint cork replaced. There is some heavy scratching on the lip plate and a couple of small deeper scratches on the back of the headjoint. These are only cosmetic and won't affect the playability of the headjoint.
