Our Description
The Selmer Mark VI is a professional model saxophone that is considered the Selmer Company's best saxophone and is preferred by many jazz musicians. These have included Phil Woods, Paul Desmond, Bob Mintzer, Wayne Shorter, Stanley Turrentine, Michael Brecker, Bob Berg, Sonny Rollins, Dexter Gordon, Stan Getz, Eddie "Lockjaw" Davis, Branford Marsalis, Dick Oatts, Eric Marienthal, Peter King and numerous others.
General Condition
This Mk VI soprano, dating from 1963, is in great order throughout. The silver is in good order if tarnished in places, and the sax plays well. It will be even better after a service and clean.
