Pre-Owned Brannen-Cooper RBOC# Silver Handmade Flute
- Workshop Approved
- Buy on Finance
Our Description
This 1997 silver flute is a fine example of Brannen-Cooper flutes. The longstanding collaboration between the late Albert Cooper and the Brannen Brothers led to a number of characteristic features of Brannen flutes that remain a cornerstone of their instruments’ identity.
This flute features a 14k gold riser in a classic cut embouchure. Combined with the Brögger Acoustic system, which alters how the tone holes are cut, results in a free-blowing and flexible flute, with a rich, bright, and pliant tone throughout the registers. The Brögger Mechanik system provides a famously stable and wear-resistant platform for those playing the most technically demanding repertoire.
General Condition
This flute has been through our workshop prior to sale and is in very good condition. There are minor surface scratches on the body tube - these are purely cosmetic and to be expected from a pre-owned flute that has been well loved.
