Our Description
Altus flutes are held in the very highest esteem by professional players and technicians the world over. Now the Altus sound is available at an affordable price, thanks to the Azumi flute.
The AZ3000 flute is stunning for its price - the sound is rich with excellent projection, and the keywork is responsive under the fingers, thanks to the SP-1 springs (normally only found on the Altus professional model flutes). No other flute at this price range has a .958 'Britannia' body and SP-1 springs. Tuning is excellent because of the accurate William Bennett scale.
The Altus Z-Cut
The Z-Cut headjoint was designed by Altus founder Shuichi Tanaka. It is handcut with a wider, rectangular shape to provide quick response with a large tone, across the range of the flute.
General Condition
This flute has been through our workshop prior to sale and is in excellent condition throughout! There are a couple of scratches on the back of the body, but these are purely cosmetic and will not impact the sound at all.
