The Arista flute is an instrument that, in the words of Mr. Bennett, embodies "That mysterious something that only a few old french flutes have."

Over thirty years ago the Arista family established a small flutemaking workshop in Boston, Massachusetts. In time, the brothers entered into the craft, each having mastered all aspects of mechanical fabrication and aesthetic detail.

Our Description

This is a beautiful flute in excellent condition throughout, recently overhauled. It has a sweet, yet rich tone in all registers.  It has been played professionally and been kept in pristine condition. Those looking for a flute with projection and beauty of tonal colours must try this flute!

The headjoint has a beautifully decorated crown and the embouchure cut is similar to the modern Tally style. The flute also benefits from a C sharp trill mechanism. 

This flute has been through our workshop prior to sale. The mechanism and padding are both excellent. 

This is an excellent price for such a fine flute. The seller is open to selling body and headjoint separately.
