Poem for Two Flutes [Playing score(s)]
- Great for teachers
From the Publisher
The idea of transferring the most important works for flute with orchestral accompaniment into a version for two flutes arises from an innovative fundamental pedagogical idea: in the rehearsal of the solo part, the rhythmic and rhythmic structure should be determined from the outset, long before the piano and later the orchestra harmonious mesh of the sentence structure present and at any time with eye and ear comprehensible. The learner thus has the opportunity to get to know the work from the beginning as a unified whole, whereby the teacher can give him active assistance at any time and will be all the more willing to sing, gesticulate, occasionally play forward and explain "standing by".
This advantage of an interactive-motivating rehearsal comes with the advantage of saving a great deal of time: the pianist - if he has been found and persuaded - is no longer "abused" as a répétiteur, and you can get along without him for a very long time, in order to finish with him as far as possible but, above all, in every detail, to provide "solo" performance, which will cause him to work and give his best.
The crucial factor is the early advance of the melody-leading soloist to the essence of "his" concert and thus to an equilibrium balance of the three main factors melody, harmony and rhythm, which readily repairs him in the case of the most short rehearsal time also best prepared and sovereign confront the orchestra ,
