From the Publisher
Edvard Grieg (1843-1907), Norway’s most famous composer, has written a lot of music which is definitely worth playing, and listening to! Play Grieg features a selection of well-known and lesser-known works or themes. Since most of these were originally written for instruments other than the one for which they are intended in this volume, things such as tempi have been carefully adapted from the original parts, or pieces have been shortened, to ensure playability.
