"Pique Dame" is an operetta composed by Franz von Suppé. The premiere took place in Graz, Austria in the year 1864. The operetta, widely performed in its day, is known for its catchy tunes and lively orchestration. One of the most famous and lasting parts of the operetta is the "Overture," which is often played as a standalone piece in concert halls.
