“A sweet treat!”
Chris Hankin Just Flutes staff member - [email protected]
All four movements of this charming flute trio are named after delicious Japanese desserts. The sparkling Fruit with Water changes time with some cross rhythms but there is also plenty of rhythmic unity to help with the ensemble. Both Flan with Pocky and Anmitsu have a tune and accompaniment, slower and more lyrical. Chocolate Brownie is structured in the same way as the opening movement and brings an energetic and vibrant end to the whole piece. Each one could stand alone but as they are all short and sweet it would be a treat to perform them all!
