In this six-part musical composition, different temperaments of a fictional monkey family are portrayed: the Playful, the Dancer, the Freak, the Dreamer and the Rogue. In the last movement, called The Monkey Parade, the five monkeys reappear in turn to end this entertaining composition cheerfully.
