The melody transports you to the merry-go-round of the 19th Century. As you sit on your horse, the ride gets faster and faster. Giving you a sense of speed, you dream of the funfair ride. All to soon the merry-go-round slows and you wake from your dream, until you ride again the merry-go-round.
This piece gives the student the sense of rise and fall which helps with the changing dynamics. Crescendos and Diminuendos. An easy sense of phrase as well as sustained moderate and loud dynamic.
