“A good investment”
Chris Hankin Just Flutes staff member - [email protected]
Subtitled ‘Creative Ideas for Instrumental Teachers’, this book is aimed principally at those teachers working with groups. All the basics are covered – warming up, pulse and rhythm, scales, improvising etc and there are lots of activities that can be used straight from the book or adapted to suit. Aural awareness is the key to all the exercises, and the inclusion of topics such as graphic notation and musical games will be welcomed by all teachers. Although it seems expensive there is a great deal of information here - an investment I think.
