Let There Be Peace was inspired by the poem of the same name by Lemn Sissay. The music mirrors the form of the poem, three main sections, with saxophone cadenzas linking these sections. An overall yearning for tranquili-ty is tested in the cadenzas, with an insistency and potential conflict, how-ever calm prevails.
