Our Description
The Just Flutes “Bass Base” Bass Flute Stand is a new, versatile and lightweight stand for bass or alto flute, designed to support the flute and minimise stress on the right shoulder of the player.
With easily adjustable flip locks, the height can be adjusted so that the Bass Base can be used when sitting or standing. The resting cradle position heights range from 64cm to 177cm, so it is suitable for both the shortest of chairs and the tallest of perfomers! The cradle itself has a rubberised non-scratch surface designed to avoid slippage or damage to the flute, whilst the “U” shape means there is no risk of the flute falling off the stand during a performance.
The motion knob in the base of the stand allows for slight horizontal movement whilst you’re playing, so you aren’t stuck in one upright position at all times. This is fully adjustable using the supplied Allen keys in an internal pocket, so settings can be adapted depending on playing conditions.
The Bass Base is supplied in a handy compact carry case for easy transport.
