Although in my opinion, the oboe has above all expressive qualities, its craftsmanship allows it to produce a wide range of very diversified sound facets. I wanted therefore to suggest some of his characters. According to his imagination, he thus appears successively pensive, mischievous, talkative, unstable, virtuoso or even unusual. Often in rather dynamic dialogue with the piano, it is an oboe that evolves in a free structure in order to show with a certain casualness the richness of its musical personality.
