From the Publisher
Elizabeth Walker has previously arranged four songs for flute and piano by Richard Strauss for ALRY Publications, and in this arrangement she continues to introduce songs to the flute repertoire. She has chosen four 'Songs Without Words', originally written by Mendelssohn for piano, that expose two melodic lines for Elizabeth to capture on two flutes. The relatively easy piano parts are designed potentially for flute teachers to play with their pupils.
