From the Publisher
Four Forest Pictures was written for 3 clarinettist who were hoping to play it at a festival in Italy, but then Covid struck, and no one was going anywhere. I hope the titles of the four pieces speak for themselves, from the obvious bird song of the first movement, the impression of looking up into the canopy of tall trees in the second, young animals at play in the 3rd, and finally the swooping of bats and flying insects in the last.
