The advantage of these interesting arrangements for 6 mixed flutes is that everyone will know the tunes. Early One Morning starts simply in C major before becoming more complex in G major, Oh My Love is Like a Red, Red Rose has the melody shared out between flutes 3, 4 and alto, The Londonderry Air has a uniform texture throughout and Bobby Shaftoe dances along in G with an unexpected trip to B major along the way. Great fun!

Early One Morning, Oh My Love Is Like A Red Red Rose, The Londonderry Air and Bobby Shaftoe arranged for flute ensemble. Generally straightforward with some occasional rich harmonies to spice up the atmosphere. With the lower parts being easier, this could be played by beginner to intermediate groups.
