Double Reed Quartet - 2 oboes, oboe or cor anglais, bassoon or cor anglais. This short Renaissance piece attempts to recreate the sound of a consort of instruments. The music flows through all parts, bearing little regard to the metrical divisions of the bar lines, which have been added by the editor to help modern players get to grips with this style of music. Not terribly difficult, about grade 4 standard. A chance for wind players to try some really early ensemble music.

Difficulty level, roughly compared to ABRSM exam grades. 0 is total beginner, 9 is advanced (beyond grade 8).
