- Interesting, worth a look
From the Publisher
In rhythmic and formal terms, the piece is based on a quave rrhythms formed of asymmetrically linked groups of two and three. This results in a fast-pulsing continuum and a seemingly free-floating rhythm. The climax and conclusion of the composition is the superimposition of the initial percussion solos with the flute solos, which demanded a high degree of tonal differentiation from the instrumentalists .
Mixed Percussion includes:
- Tom toms
- Bells
- Gong
- Tamtam
- Windchime
- Marimba
- Vibraphone
- Woodblocks
