Our Description

Theobald Böhm (1794-1881), who has become world-famous especially as inventor of the modern flute, was an equally respected flute virtuoso and composer in his time. Elégie Op. 47, his last work, was published by Schott in 1880 and had been available only as a reprint for a long time. Now, this important work is finally available in a revised version in modern notation.
