From the Publisher
The short, charming Divertimento in G major by an unknown master of the early Classical Period is here presented to the public for the first time. Strictly speaking, one could attribute the work to the genre of the Trio Sonatas, although by title and style it belongs already to the early Classical Period.
I hope this charming jewel of chamber music for flute which is also very much suited for pedgogical purposes will give pleasure to all flutist and will come to life again through this publication.
