Two such wonders are Utah's Zion and Arches National Parks, which feature wonderfully different attractions. Maggio hiked both in 2015: the scorching hot Devils Garden in Arches and the narrow ridge trail to Angels Landing in Zion, a trek not for the faint of heart.
