“One of the best!”
Chris Hankin Just Flutes staff member - [email protected]
There are now many extended technique books available and this is one of the best. The twelve studies each feature a different skill and there is a comprehensive guide helping you to be able to play it. These are all clearly laid out and easy to follow. The added bonuses are the sections on graphic notation, improvisation and movement which are really interesting and helpful, if a little scary for most of us! Finally, it's all written in Offerman's own special style, idiosyncratic and impossible not to love!
Difficulty guide: 7-9
Difficulty level, roughly compared to ABRSM exam grades. 0 is total beginner, 9 is advanced (beyond grade 8).
