Concertino for Two Flutes and Piano, Op.67

You can always rely on Kummer to make you fall in love with the flute all over again and this piece will do just that!  Here are three wonderful movements which all feature the flutes weaving around around each other in thirds and sixths supported by a robust piano accompaniment. The outer movements are both sparkling despite the third movement being marked as an Andante con moto,  and the central Andante is just sumptuous. Comfort blanket music of the highest quality!
