From the Publisher
Cholita is a Bolivian folksong.
In all there are three sections: a chorale, slow and flexible; a section in which the flutes are played like Pan pipes (breath sound) in alternation with normal sound, and a more rhythmically marked third section that is strongly structured by the percussion.
The rhythmic difficulties of the flute parts can be worked at by ear.
