From the Publisher

The "Cadenzas and Interludes" for the Sonata in A minor for flute solo (Wq 132) by C. P. E. Bach were commissioned by the flutist Philipp Jundt, who premiered the work on May 22, 2021. The short cadenza was composed entirely in the spirit of Quantz ’on one breath. Both interludes refer to the corresponding movements of the Bach sonata in terms of motif and harmony.
