Despite the high price of this short piece I thought it deserved a mention simply because it is very clever and works well. Pearce manages to combine the Flight of the Bumblebee with short excerpts from 10 other well known themes including the Minute Waltz, Melody in F and Eine Kleine Nachtmusik. It makes for a challenging workout for all the players and it has the added bonus of being able to be performed by 6 C flutes.
