  • Interesting, worth a look

From the Publisher

Br[sasa] no 2 was inspired by the poem 'The Wind' by the Brazillian poetess Cecilia Meireles and its musical profile seeks to send to a melodic diagram that makes reference to the poem.  The piece has kernel notes that, from them, at different moments, search to penetrate other musical profile branching that are expressive and give continuity to the music speech coherence, just as the poem has its continuity of reading and expresssive coherence for the reader.

The material on the piece, even simple, appears, unfolds and disappears gradually, as well as the wind, which is represented by various vibratos smorzati, embouchure glissandi, and interval profile of long repeated leaps and a peaceful ending picturing the end of the wind in an almost inert manner.

Performance duration (approx): 6'00"
