Roland Batik (born 19 August 1951) is an Austrian pianist, composer, jazz musician and piano teacher. In the style of his compositions, he is seeking a fusion of classical elements with Jazz. His piano music sells worldwide and is very highly respected. His music is frequently broadcast on Austrian radio.
One of the most popular works by the parade crossover pianist is finally in print. The composition reflects the blues feeling in an authentic way. The exact transcription by Pawel Markowicz also gives classical musicians access to blues and jazz.
