This is a bumper book of duets in progressive order, ranging from the quite straightforward to the anything but. Each duet has a title which is very helpful and there are many that are in the style of a particular composer. The Preface covers the basics of posture and the mental approach and the Introduction gives suggestions for improving sight reading, both of which are useful to have as a reference. There are seven clapping rhythm duets to start with too. Another bonus is that each duet is only one page long, so they are perfectly designed to work in lesson time. Even better would be to play them with like-minded friends and enjoy the music!
