Our Description
Charles Nicholson was born in Liverpook in 1795 and died in London in 1837. He was the most esteemed, yet controversial flutist of his time. Many of these solos are delightful as encores. All of the pieces provide technical challenges, but, more importantly, they reveal insight into Nicholson's exploration of the expressive potential of the flute.
