Acariciame (dearest one) – A tango inspired by the composer's aunt from Naples, Italy. The music combines elements of opera, habanera, flamenco, and Argentine tango; musical styles that shape the character of his beloved aunt. The opening introduction is reminiscent of 19th-century Italian opera, the melody of early 20th-century Argentine tango, the rhythm of the habanera, a Cuban dance form of Spanish origin, and the ending, the florid rhythmic excitement of the cante Flamenco school.
