A great piece for clarinet quartet. Analysis: Key: Bb major & G major (Bb Score) - Time signature: 4/4 - A Allegro Intro with ascending fourths: a typical interval from the A-theme. A-theme Playful 2 measures in Bb major, 2 in A major, 2 in Bb major. Accompaniment in a 2 bar pattern: 3+3+3+3+2+2, Measure 39 brings a short theme for Bass Clarinet. Acc: 3+3+2+3+3+2. Ritenuto at the end of the A-theme, followed by an anticipation of the B-theme. Modulation to the key of G major. - B Adagio The melodic B-theme in a melancholic mood. At the end of this part, shortly the A- and B-themes with an accelerando and - A Allegro: see above, but at measure 61 to the Coda A flashback on all themes, followed by the broadened B-theme in the Bass Clarinet, directly the A-theme and the 2 final measures.Item Details
