“Colourful music for flute choir”
Anze Rozman writes film music as well as flute music and this lovely piece is a great amalgamation of the two. The bird calls in free time appear throughout the work, there is a strong anchor from the lower instruments and tuneful snippets of melody. Wind tones also add to the textural mix. The whole thing is full of colour and could just as easily be used as the basis for a multi-layered creative project as a concert piece. It's lovely!
From the Publisher
A Bird's Tale on a Saturday for Flute Choir by Anže Rozman. Aleatoric bird calls over the gentle sound of the wind lead to lush harmonies and rippling textures. Such as you might expect to hear from the birds on a Saturday.
